Kung internet speed ang pag-uusapan, isa sa mga pinakakulelat na bansa ang Pilipinas. Ayon sa Ookla Speed Test, nitong Abril, mas mababa kaysa sa global average ang download at upload speed ng bansa. Pang-121 lang ang Pilipinas sa 139 na mga bansang may pinakamabilis na mobile internet.

Lagpak din ang ranggo natin sa fixed broadband speed. Mas kaunti kasi ang Mbps na naitatala ng Pilipinas kumpara sa kalapit nitong Singapore at South Korea na nangunguna sa internet speed sa buong mundo.

Kung gaano naman kahina ang internet connection sa Pilipinas siya namang inilakas ng bentahan ng laptops ngayon sa gitna ng nakaambang "new normal" sa edukasyon.
