Philippines: Marcos Junior maintains lead in presidential race

The son of a former Philippine leader is maintaining his frontrunning position in next month's election.
Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Junior says he wants to return the country to its former glory.
His family links with an oppressive past, and conviction for tax evasion, are not hurting his popularity.
The rule of former President Ferdinand Marcos is seen as one of the most brutal and divisive times for the Philippines. He was forcefully removed through a People Power Revolution in 1986.
